The inverted bell top case with handle and four cone finials over circular sound frets and glazed panels to the sides, on a moulded base and ogee brass feet, the 7 inch arched brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring below strike/silent subsidiary dial, the matted centre with date and mock pendulum apertures, the twin gut fusee movement with knife edge verge escapement rack striking the hours on a bell and repeating the quarters on a run of six bells and hammers, signed 'Cha Blanchard, London' within symmetrical foliate scrolls. 49cms (19ins) high
