A second quarter of the 19th century engraved gilt brass fusee carriage timepiece

Signed Harvey & Co., Strand & Regent St., London, No. 9020
surmounted by a turned baluster handle over a tall moulded pediment with glazed inspection panel, over side panels and door frame engraved with scrolling foliage, on knurled feet, the circular silvered engine turned dial with Roman numerals and blued steel Breguet style hands, set within a gilt mask of engraved foliate scrollwork, the signed movement with rectangular plates joined by four turned pillars, with chain fusee to a lever platform escapement with monometallic balance.
