Deniere, Ft de Bronzes a Paris, the case stamped H. Pigard
The classically inspired case surmounted by the drum with an elaborate perfume burner with swagged garlands mounted on a scroll and foliate base decorated with a Classical frieze on toupie feet, the 5.75 inch signed circular white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with gilt fancy hands, the signed circular brass movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the movement stamped 'Pons Medaille D'Or.' Ticking and striking, sold with a pendulum and winding key. 52cms (20ins) high (3)

Deniere Paris, was based in the Rue Turenne 1812, Rue d'Orleans 1820-40. Fils 1850, Rue Charlot 1860-90. He was also a bronzier who exhibited his clocks in London in 1862.
