A late 19th century French lacquered brass carriage timepiece with annual calendar

W. Batty & Sons, London.
The Anglaise case with an elaborate handle over bevelled glass panels to the top and sides, the rectangular silvered Roman chapter ring above day/date ring with apertures for month and year between, with blued hands, the platform lever escapement with monometallic balance, subsidiary calendar work mounted below movement plates with setting arbors for day, date, month and year.
