Footnote
For this design Daisy Makeig-Jones took inspiration from The Legends of Croquemitaine. In this French legend Mitaine, the goddaughter of Charlemagne, travels through the 'Land of Illusion', described as a place of lost souls, demon trees and ghostly apparitions, to conquer the 'Fortress of Fear'. However, using artistic licence, Makeig-Jones also included other stories into her interpretation of the legend, for example The White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.
