A silver and cut-glass desk set

maker's mark 'GB', Moscow, 1908-1917
comprising a silver-mounted cut-glass inkwell, a silver stand and silver-mounted wooden ink blotter; the cube-shaped inkwell with hinged spheric silver lid numbered '276', fitted into a silver stand in the shape of a throne raised on four bell-shaped feet, the back pierced with geometrical and foliate ornament and fitted with hooks holding two silver pens marked with Cyrillic maker's initials 'BK', the blotter mounted in silver with a large knob handle; the inkwell cover and blotter handle engraved with a monogram, the stand base engraved with Cyrillic inscription 'From Colleagues of the Uzyn Sugar Factory / 19 II 1916', 84 standard
