A silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel sugar tazza and creamer

Antip Kuzmichev, Moscow, 1880s
each with a lobed bowl raised on a shaped circular spreading foot, the sugar tazza with two scroll handles, the creamer with one scroll handle and open spout, decorated throughout with stylized foliage, fleur-de-lis, swags and abstract geometric motifs in varicoloured enamel on stippled gilt ground, the gilded interior bowl of the sugar tazza and the gilded spout of the creamer engraved with Cyrillic monogram 'MV,' the undersides of the bases with scratched inventory numbers '408', 88 standard
height of tazza: 10cm (3 15/16in).
