A copper and enamel inkstand

Russia, late 17th – early 18th century
the rectangular body on four baluster shaped feet, with a drawer opening at one end, detachable cover pierced to hold three quills and removable sandpit, all enamelled with stylized varicoloured flowers and foliage against white enamel ground, interior with three compartments, apparently unmarked
height: 8.2cm (3 1/4in).
