With two-piece skull joined along the low roped comb, and followed by incised lines along both sides converging on the brow of the bluntly-pointed peak, the latter hinged at the same points as the visor and lower bevor and with turned and roped edge, the visor cut to accommodate the peak and also for vision, the latter with turned and roped borders above four vertical ventilation slots, and incised with line borders en suite with the skull, the bevor shaped to the chin and pierced with an arrangement of circular holes on each side, two hook catches on the right, single neck-plate at the rear (the others missing), and tubular spirally-grooved plume-holder at the back of the skull (old pitting overall)
