In excavated condition, with sharply tapering double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section becoming flattened diamond towards the point, the forte on one side with latten-inlaid running wolf mark and three cross marks, and on the other with a cross potent mark between cross marks, hilt comprising slightly arched quillons of rectangular section each tapering to a point, long flat tapering tang, chamfered octagonal wheel pommel faced on both sides with a white-metal roundel cut with a cross patent within a circle, and surmounted by a latten pyramidal-shaped tang button
