With three-stage barrel engraved with foliage along the mid-section, faceted breech and flared muzzle each decoratively engraved along the facets, the breech flat engraved 'Edinburgh' in gothic script, signed border engraved flat lock with engraved cock, safety-catch, semi-rainproof pan and roller, silvered foliate engraved stock (some loss of silvering) including a thistle on one side of the ram's horn butt and a martial trophy on the back, silver button trigger and threaded pricker each engraved with a starburst, belt hook, and original slender steel ramrod with pierced baluster tip, Birmingham proof marks
