A Composite Percussion Pistol With Earlier Scottish Barrel, And Another Of 50-Bore
Both Basically 19th Century

The first with late 17th/early 18th century Scottish barrel of 22-bore, in four stages between mouldings retaining some silver overlay, the sections inlaid with waved brass lines and engraved silver flower-heads and a heart (engraving worn), foliate scroll engraved breech, tang, lock with dolphin hammer and trigger-guard, figured three-quarter stock, and later ramrod; the second adapted from a longarm and in poor condition, the chequered butt carved with a lion's mask with glass eyes (2)
