With broad blade etched in imitation of wootz steel and with bright cutting edge and double-edges to the point of flattened diamond section, narrow central fuller over each side issuing from a multi-grooved gold-damascened arch and with fleur-de-lys shaped finials, the forte on one side with addorsed gold-damascened 'eye-lash' marks surmounted by gold inscriptions in devangari and nasta'liq respectively, and on the other with gold-damascened sun-in-splendour, the back-edge on both sides cut with gold-damascened multi-grooves between four quadrilateral panels each damascened with flowering gold foliage, steel hilt gold-damascened with line borders of running foliage and with flowering foliage on each side of the grip, comprising blunt langets, quillons with disc-shaped tips, large disc-shaped pommel, and bud-shaped finial on a rayed dome, and faceted grip drawn-out to a point on each side
