Early 19th Century, Probably Boka Kotorska For The Albanian Market
With single-edged silver blade stamped with silver marks on one side at the forte, grip of tapering rounded section cast and chased in relief along each side with scrolling foliage issuing from a monster's head between nielloed wrigglework borders, collar stamped with silver marks, beaked pommel surmounted by a floret, and foliate suspension loop at the back between red coral (corallium rubrum) beads, in original scabbard en suite, the locket gilt, and in fine condition
