LARGE PAPER EDITION LIMITED TO 100 COPIES of a classic work devoted to the Arabian horse. Major Tweedie was for many years Consul-General at Baghdad, and Political Resident for the Government of India in Turkish Arabia, but had begun his study of Arab horses whilst serving with the British army in India, where Arab horses were highly prized as gifts amongst the native and colonial rulers.
