For a similar example cf. E. Marianne Stern, The Toledo Museum of Art, Roman Mold-Blown Glass, Toledo, 1995, p.157-159, fig. 67. The author notes that this type of miniature vessel was intended to imitate large clay trade amphorae of the late Hellenistic Period. Further closely related examples were formerly in the Hans Benzian collection (sold at Sotheby's in 1994), and the Sangiorgi collection (sold at Christie's in 1999).
