A Roman pale green glass jug with blue looped handle
Circa late 1st Century A.D.
The spherical body decorated with applied light blue threads spiralling around the body and lower neck, with a matching opaque light blue glass handle with looped thumbrest separately applied joining the rim and shoulder, with long cylindrical neck, flared mouth and rounded rim, on a ring base, 14.5cm high

The combination of opaque blue trails and blue handle on a yellow-green body is rare, and may indicate a North Italian workshop.
