Also called a Morning Glory, this is one of the rarest of all single flower paperweights. Fewer than thirty examples by Clichy are recorded, either on a clear ground or on a filigree cushion, see Paul Dunlop, The Dictionary of Glass Paperweights (2009), p.102. A very similar example set with a pink and white convolvulus from the Baroness de Bellet Collection was sold by Bonhams on 19 May 2010, lot 140.
