the movement stamped Vincenti
the case depicting a charioteer, pulled by two rearing horses on a marble base with an applied bronzed plaque inscribed 'Alibert A Paris, 1855', the 3.5" dial (chapter ring replaced) set in the wheel, the twin barrel movement striking on a bell now mounted to the inside of the rear door, with pendulum and key, 39cm high, 49cm wide, 15cm deep
