A gold-splashed bronze rectangular incense burner, gui

17th/18th century
With thick walls raised on corner feet, each set-in on the short sides below a pair of square-sectioned strap handles, decorated on the exterior with scattered and irregular gold splashes, the flat base cast with a rectangular reserve with the four characters reading zisun bao zhi (Protected by the children and grandchildren). 18.3cm (7 2/8in) wide.
