The artist has chosen to depict the adherent in the garments of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church or more correctly the 'Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim'.

This church was founded in 1926 by Orimolade Tunolase and Abiodun Akinsowon and currently has over ten million followers in West Africa.
