Glasses of this type are known in a number of museums. Two similar examples are illustrated and discussed by Anna-Elisabeth Theuerkauff-Liederwald, Venezianisches Glas der Veste Coburg (1994), p.265, nos.247 and 248, who suggests that the large group of 30 glasses of varying size in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (accession no. A62.8), acquired in France in 1879, are probably of French origin.
