A famille rose enameled garlic-head porcelain vase
Hongxian marks and of the period, 1912-1916
The pear-form body rising to a gently waisted neck, surmounted with a garlic-head mouth, the side walls painted with a placid garden scene with blooming chrysanthemums, bamboo stalks, acorus grass rising from rocks, and a large katydid, the recessed base centered with the four-character mark in iron-red regular script.
