Three huanghuali bamboo-shaped brushpots, bitong

Qing Dynasty
Each of cylindrical form, deftly carved around the exteriors with bow-strings simulating bamboo nodes, the well-figured wood of a warm chestnut-brown tone. The largest, 15cm (5 7/8in) high (3).
