A Prattware 'Bacchus and Pan' jug, circa 1790

Bacchus seated on a barrel covered with fruit, wearing a blue lion skin robe and grasping a cornucopia which rises to form the spout of the jug, the spout modelled as the head of a dolphin and the handle as a monkey, a figure of Pan to the reverse with an owl by his side, on a circular base, 30.3cm high
