A Creamware 'Village Idiot' Toby Jug, circa 1790

Of traditional form, seated and holding a foaming jug in both hands, a small pipe resting at his right hand side, wearing brown coat, breeches and shoes and a blue waistcoat, the base washed in green, 23.3cm high
