A rare creamware 'Roman Nose' Toby Jug, circa 1790

Of traditional form with a distinctive 'Roman Nose' bearing a wart, smoking a pipe, an overflowing foaming jug resting on his left knee supported by both hands, his face and hands washed in brown, wearing a blue jacket and breeches, his waistcoat left in the white, 24.2cm high
