An unusual Stourbridge engraved spouted ewer, circa 1880

Of ovoid form with an everted pouring lip, loop handle and long slender spout, decorated with the 'Willow Pattern', the continuous fenced waterside landscape with an elaborate pavilion and tree-filled garden to one side, three figures crossing a bridge and two swallows in flight to the other, the neck, shoulder and spout with small islands, the slightly domed folded foot similarly decorated, 25.5cm high
