Nine assorted concert handbills for Bay Area shows
late 1960s
featuring five handbills for various shows at the Matrix including; two examples for Howlin' Wolf, April 20, 1967, art by Leidenthal; Sopwith Camel, April, 1966; the Wildflower, May 5, 1967, bearing four signatures presumed to be the band's; and the Yellow Brick Road, art by Leidenthal. The other four handbills are Bedrock One at California Hall, March 5, 1967, art by Crumb, corners trimmed; Exotica featuring Quicksilver Messenger Service at Pauley Ballroom, March 4, 1967; and two handbills for the Young Rascals at Oakland Auditorium, June 28, 1967. All 11 x 8 1/2 in.
