Together with a flat specimen with polished face, Mednorudyanskoye Cu Deposit, Nizhnii Tagil, Sverdlovskaya Oblast, Russia, RHC8449, measuring 7 1/2 x 4 x 1 1/2 in. (3)

With paper label for the Russian specimen: "Acquired in 2012, 1297 grams, A flat lapped and polished piece of malachite from this classic locality. It is an old specimen. Got the specimen from James Zigras. It is thought to be from the Harvard collection. It has the remains of a scraped off catalogue number on its side."
