Large Megalodon Tooth

Boasting well-preserved serrations and an intact root, this large tooth also exhibits attractive rich, dark coloration. Most teeth found from this species are only 3-4 inches in height. Carcharocles megalodon was the largest shark that ever lived. Estimating the length of a shark at about ten feet in length to every one inch of tooth, the formidable behemoth to which this tooth belonged would have measured over fifty feet in length.
