This formidable ankylosaur skull cast represents a new species from one of the most complete ankylosaur skeletons ever found. The discovery represented the type specimen of the species and was the first time a skull and club tail from the same ankylosaur were found together. Armored dinosaurs persisted until the end of the Cretaceous, when the extinction of all dinosaurs occurred.
