The arched case surmounted by a brass handle and brass-bound pad over rectangular fish-scale sound frets on a plinth base and ogee feet, the signed and numbered 6.75 inch silvered Roman and Arabic dial with matching blued-steel hands, with the option for strike/silent in the arch, the movement with five knopped pillars and twin wire fusees to the anchor escapement, with rack strike and trip repeat on a bell, the backplate with engraved running border and numbered 3409, the pendulum with engraved lenticular bob and spring retaining clip. Ticking and striking. 43cms (16 1/2ins) high (1)
