The highly carved case with carved acorn and oak leaf wreath moulding leading to waisted sides on a carved moulded plinth base, the signed silvered dial with Roman numerals and moon hands to the substantial chain fusee gong-striking movement with anchor escapement and heavy bobbed pendulum with stirrup regulation. Ticking and striking. Sold with a case key and an associated winding key. 46cms (18ins) high (4)
