The case with rippled handle over a bevelled glass inspection panel and repeat button, the underside of the case fitted with a commemorative oval plaque, the signed white enamel rectangular Roman dial with blued steel Breguet style hands, over a subsidiary alarm dial, the stamped twin train movement with gilt platform and bi-metallic compensated balance, striking the hours and half hours on a bell. Ticking, striking and repeating. The underside of the case is fitted with a modern presentation plaque. Sold with the original travelling case with glass inspection window and brass double ended winding key. 16cms (6ins) (3)
