The rippled handle over a large bevelled glass inspection panel, moulded cornice and uprights to a matching base, the white enamel Roman dial with minute track and blued steel moon hands, the movement with silvered lever platform escapement with compensated bimetallic balance striking and repeating on a coiled steel gong, the numbered backplate with engraved signature 'Henry Bell, Paris', together with an associated velvet-lined travel case and double-ended key.
