The highly engraved case all over decorated with flowers and foliage with rippled handle over a rectangular bevelled glass inspection panel and repeat button over two glass side panels, the signed white enamel rectangular Roman dial with blued-steel Breguet style hands over a subsidiary Arabic alarm dial, the twin train movement with lever platform escapement with bimetallic compensated balance, striking the hours and half hours on a bell and repeating the quarters on a further bell. Ticking and striking. Sold with the original leather travelling case and a modern double ended winding key. 16cms (6 inches) high (3)
