A fine Prisoner-of-war bone model of a first-class ship-of-the line, English/French, early 19th century,

the pinned and planked hull with horn strakes, three masts with standing and running rigging, horse-shoe shaped stern with stern board carved decoration and balustrading, beakhead with carved female figurehead, deck with capstan, belaying rails, water barrels, ships bell in canopy, deck gratings and metal canon on carriages, mounted on rectangular straw work base, on mahogany base under glass dome, the model 11 by 13in (28 by 33cm), the display case 12 by 14in (30.5 by 35.5cm)
