Arabic manuscript on paper, 275 leaves, 18 lines to the page written in small naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, gold dots marking verse-endings, inner margins ruled in red and gold, remargined throughout, double-page illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, preceded by the index and opening prayers written within cartouches, sura headings written in naskhi script in red on a gold ground within a panel, seal impressions, later Qajar floral lacquer binding, with slipcase
