Footnotes
Incomplete and fragile copy of the second edition of Rabisha's scarce cookery book. The Cornish author, who claimed to have worked for many noble families, divides the book into three sections: the first is on pickles, fish, meats and fruit, the second is entitled 'Rare recipes in Cookery', and the third part deals with preserving, conserving and candying.
Provenance: 'Deffyd(?) Thomas of Swansea in the County of Glamorgan Gentleman', inscription on final page; some other eighteenth-century inscriptions of Welsh owners on blank verso of b4.
