With bright very slightly curved fullered blade double-edged at the point and with traces of incised foliate decoration between punched star marks on both sides towards the forte, hilt cast and chased with human masks amid foliage against finely punched grounds and comprising downbent shell-guard, lobed rear quillon, knuckle-guard (small repair) hooked into the domed pommel, the latter with bearded masks and flattened button, and vertically fluted ebony grip, in its wood-lined black leather scabbard with silver locket and chape each embossed with foliage, the former pricked with retailer's details on one side, the latter with small button terminal
