The first with blackened tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, blackened ovoidal guard, swelling leather-covered grip secured by thin cord bindings, and leather Turk's head pommel with suspension thong, in its original leather scabbard with copper chape and leather suspension tabs; the second of characteristic form, the pommel stamped '3' on one side, in its leather scabbard (some wear, leather retaining clip replaced) with copper chape and leather suspension tabs (2)
