A Flintlock Tinderlighter
By Wood, York, Circa 1820

Of box-lock pistol form, with brass body signed within an oval against a martial trophy over each side, ovoidal tinder-pan, steel trigger-guard engraved with a star on the bow, later pierced bipod with lobed feet, and figured flat-sided butt
11 cm.
