In 2001 A. Lange & Söhne released the Langematik Perpetual Calendar Ref:310.032 powered by the calibre L922.1. The Langematik Perpetual was the first mechanical timepiece in the history of watchmaking to combine a perpetual calendar with an oversized date aperture, a feature that is popular with the German manufacture.
The original Langematik Perpetuals came in either 18K rose gold or platinum and were fitted with solid silver dials. With the current lot this combination of silver and rose gold makes a highly attractive contrast. At 38.5mm it has presence on the wrist whilst maintaining the sophisticated styling that Lange & Söhne are known for.
Just last year the model was relaunched in a limited series of 100 pieces.
