The kinji ground shading below to nashiji, decorated with a small bird flying past large clumps of chrysanthemums while another calls up from below, all in gold takamaki-e with slight red lacquer details, and highlights of kirikane, the interior of nashiji; with a globular ojime fashioned from a nut; with a wood storage box. 9.2cm (3 5/8in).
