An inlaid shibuichi three-case inro
Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century
Decorated in high relief of silver, gilt and shakudo with a karako (Chinese boy) offering a bowl of lotus to Kannon standing on wisps of clouds on one side and a lotus plant and flowers on a pond on the other, the interior of silver; inscribed with chiselled characters Toryusai within a gold rectangular reserve. 7.6cm (3in) high.
