Two lacquer kobako (small boxes) and covers

Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century
The first with an overlapping cover with a matt roiro lacquer over a textured ground decorated in red, green and brown takamaki-e with a single stem of two blossoms and buds and worm-eaten leaves, with details inlaid in shell, unsigned; 6cm x 16.2cm x 16.5cm (2 3/8in x 6 3/8in x 6½in); the second decorated with a carp in gold takamaki-e, unsigned; 4.5cm x 16.5cm x 9cm (1¾in x 6½in x 3½in).
