The treble-grip action-body incorporating W.M. Scott & T. Baker action patent no. 761 of 23rd February 1878, and patent gas check no. 778, the lockplates engraved with the makers name in a scrolling banner surrounded by tight foliate-scrollwork, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, figured stock (probably an old replacement), lever-latch forend, the sleeved barrels (loose on action) with game-rib engraved Cogswell & Harrison, 142 New Bond Street, London
