indistinct mark, possibly Italian late 18th / early 19th century
The plain gilt bowl set within a separate receiver embossed with masonic style symbols, knopped triform scroll stem, the domed spreading shaped-circular base with further panels depicting masonic style symbols, die, crossed mallet and tongs, raised hand, ladder and baton, rods(lances) in saltire tied by a ribbon, height 23.5cm, weight 40.8oz.
