Meylan， 「Type A-7 - Avigation」27748型號， 精鋼手動上弦單按鈕計時飛行員腕錶，為美國軍隊而製，年份約1935.

In 1934 the US Army Air Forces (1941-1947) requested a timepiece made under the "Specification No.27748".
Under these specifications, the watch was to have an offset dial, large crown and chronograph pusher easy to operate while wearing gloves, large Arabic numerals, 30 minutes counter and continuous sub seconds dial.
Only three watch companies produced these Type A-7 watches under the "Specification No.27748": Meylan, Longines, and Gallet. The timepiece being auctioned is the Meylan Type A-7 "Avigation" which was designed for aircraft navigation.
The full military engravings on case back with U.S. Army engraved on the movement adds originality to this military watch making is a desirable piece for military timepiece collectors.
